Gauge

28 sts and 44 rows = 4”/10cm over Stockinette Stitch using size 2 needles.

Row gauge is important for the correct lengths, so row counts are given.

Take time to save time, check your gauge.

Finished Measurements

To fit size to fit Small (Medium, Large, Xlarge) to fit 32-34 (36-38, 42-44, 46-48)” bust. Sample worked in size Medium. Body circumference at lower edge: 35( 40, 45, 50)”. Length to shoulder at neckline edge, with lower edge trim added: 22 (23, 24, 25)”

NOTES

The Front and Back are each knitted in 2 sections. See schematic drawing for shape. Righthand side of Front is worked from lower edge to shoulder. Then stitches for the Lefthand side of Front are picked up along the side and worked towards the Left armhole extension. Righthand side of Back is worked from lower edge to shoulder. Then stitches for the Lefthand side of Back are picked up along the side and worked towards the Left armhole extension. Cast on by the backward loop method. To save time, weave in the ends at the beginning of each new colour section. To do this, wrap the end around the working yarn over as you knit, over a couple of inches

MATERIALS

•2( 2, 2, 3) “Pencil Box” sets: this sweater uses TRIBAL ART and CAROUSEL, from KOIGU yarns “Koigu KPPPM” (100% merino wool; 25g/87 yds/80 m): 20 (20, 20, 20, 30) Pencil yarn:

•Size 2 knitting needles. Size 2 circular knitting needles, 16” and 24” long (for neckline).

•Stitch markers.

•Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
